First one I chased a black kid into an alley. He out ran me but his buddy, 18 year old injun boy followed. He walked up and pulled a .25 on me and pointed it at my head. I drew and shot before I knew it. One shot from the hip, in his right nipple, through both lungs and heart.

Second one, black kid(19) we had pulled a gun off the driver, I ordered the passengers to get their hands up. Front passenger dove across the seat, I ran to the drivers window, he reached under the seat, I thought he was going for a gun, shot him in the neck, bullet lodged in his C2. He was DRT(dead right there). Two guns found under the seat, couple thousand cash, and a 1/4 pound of crack in his pants.

I had been a cop a little over a year on the first, second was less than year later.

Holy hell, that's pretty rough. Sucks you had to do that, but glad it was them and not you.
