The Strongest Men on Earth:
This book covers olde time strongmen acts and the culture of fitness during 1800s/early 1900s. While it mainly focuses on the figureheads, their stage acts, and the eccentrics/con artists of the era, it also goes into areas like weightlifting, boxing, wrestling, ju jitsu, club bell swinging. There's a lot to get through, and most of the history i found dry, but there was enough here that interested me about the events themselves and the psychos that partook.
