Leaving town tomorrow for the Mendocino coast for a looooong weekend of very low tides, and hopefully LOTS of abalone. In a time honored tradition passed down from my father and his friends, myself and my childhood friends will surely be drinking a LOT of this swill:

Used to call those 3L bottles of Carlo Rossi "cannonballs" in college.

Disappointed fatty. Next time you need some cheap bourbon check this stuff out. Should be around 20 bucks and has been my go to while I've been rationing the PVW.

There's not a damned thing wrong with white label Beam. Cut my drinking teeth on it when I was but a wee bairn. 5th of Jim and a large McDonald's Coke and I was all set for a good Friday night in high school.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

Disappointed in Jim Beam? You sound like a gay.

Really good for this time of year. Hints of citrus that point toward summer, but still rich enough to satisfy a hunger for substance.

Beam is crap. You can find better bourbon for less money w/o paying their marketing budget. You're getting played, homie.

Better and cheaper than JB white label. Smooth but still has a nice bite.
That said, drink what you like.

This is a great farmhouse ale. Feels like the perfect restorative after a hard workout.

I'd like to try that. The reviews are very good. When I go to DC in October I'll try it.

I'm a fan. I pick up a 4 pack or two whenever I go down to GA (can't get it in Pennsy).
