So I failed...

Post by TomFurman »

People have come to me for advice. I think I get my point across. I'm empathetic, but hardcore.

Presscott McDonald was a friend who took photos and participated in projects with many artists.
People use the term, "World Class" loosely. Presscott was a prodigy. A protege' of Annie Leibowitz.

He did major magazine covers and celebrities including Kimora Lee Simmons.

Presscott was a friend, a gentleman and a powerful human.

We talked of food addiction,.. general addiction and decision making. I told him if he continued on his path, he would 'check out'. His excessive habits were scary.

He had a little girl who was the light of his life. He went through a recent separation. Lots of stress.

I saw that he was doing photos of Usain Bolt.. He was amazing.

We lost him. Blackout, numb left arm, paramedics,... joking till the end... I miss you. I should have done better.

You did what you could, Tom. The rest was up to him. You know that.

Sorry for the loss of your friend.

Awesome photography. He was very talented. My condolences, Tom. It wasn't your fault at all.

A painful loss Tom, but you can't hold yourself responsible for the decisions that another adult makes concerning their life.

My condolences Bro.

You didn't fail. You warned him, but death took him before he chose to heed your warning.
RIP and condolences for the loss of your friend.

My condolences, Tom. You were probably one of the few who gave him the straight story. You threw him the life preserver but he didn't take it.

Beautiful photos. RIP, Presscott.

You didn't fail, shipmate. You gave him your best counsel, and so he made informed choices. Sorry for your loss.
