On a semi-related note...I spent most of today sitting in circuit court waiting to observe the fate of a former employer (a nigger) of ours that we discovered was embezzling. Much to my shock, most of the criminals facing sentencing today were tatted up, white trash, meth mouths, and weed heads. Yeah, the usual ensemble of parole violating schwoogies made their way through, but I was utterly amazed at the number of honkies I watched coming through there that would get thrown in a wood chipper if King Kaz was running shit.

All you have to do is say "Kenny Chesney" and I start swinging.

Yep. Mostly real country seems to get lumped in to "Americana". It sure doesn't get played on country radio.

FWIW Bob, my go to Pandora stations for country tend to be:
Robert Earl Keen (lots of old outlaw stuff, lots of Americana)
Roger Creager (lots of the Texas stuff, some mainstream-- I hit dislike when stuff like Chesney plays)
Chet Atkins (because Chet Atkins)

There is currently a once weekly host of Coast To Coast that plays a bit of the Creager kid, if I'm
no mistaken.
