Honestly, I'm sick of seeing both of their funny faces pasted on the news every fifteen minutes. That sleep-eyed, mouth breathing, going nowhere in life nigger, and that oiley faced, double chinned, brill cream headed spic.

This entire case is a great example of what happens when two angry and emotionally immature assholes from two entirely different cultures collide. It usually ends up with either black eyes, bloody noses, or a sucking chest wound. In this case, the two cocksuckers hit the trifecta.

Of course, the nation goes out and chooses sides just as it always does. The urban degenerates and their rabble rousing "speakspeoples" go out and choose the side of the person with a skin color and cultural demographic that they can relate to. On the flip side, the rural and suburban Fox news junkies with their Subarus, and mortgages, and full-time employment go out and choose likewise. It's really kind of sad, but that's the fate of the human monkey...pretty much hardwired into a binary matrix when it comes to choice, or categorization of real and perceived phenomenon/artifacts. Either/or, pleasure and pain, Eros et Thanatos...it's the rare primate with a prefontal cortex capable of seeing the soupy spectrum of gray that we frolick in, and able to make value judgements that are not poisoned by the incessant signal of the cultural matrix, their own proximity bias, and the unrelenting need to lash out at anything that seems like a threat to the family rice bowl.

From a pure legal perspective he will probably walk. In terms of "what he deserves", he should probably sit in a jail cell for the rest of his life. Personally, I don't know what would bother me more if I were him...the fact that I ended a young man's life, or the fact that my fat sorry wannabe cop ass can't physically handle some scrawny assed 17yo.

Applying my late grandmother's simple standards this would have never happened...neither one of them should have been out there fucking around that time of night.

The narrative interests me far more than the specifics of the case. How the media, the politicians, and the special prosecutor (read politician) handled this says a lot about our country and it's not good.

The fact that mixed race Zimmerman is a white-hispanic while equally mixed race Obama is simply black according to CNN, the NYT, and others is a screaming example of the race identity politics of what could be considered the top TV and print news organizations in the word.

Actually, I keep reading the white-hispanic quote and am unsure if the media is trying to go for a "the Mexican did it" angle or reaching for a "white on black crime" story.

I am pretty sure that if Zimmerman was not obviously Hispanic-looking, he'd be portrayed as white in all the analysis. How do I know?

Because I've seen multiple arguments that not arresting Z immediately showed the racism in the system, with the argument that "If it had been a black man that shot a white teenager...."

Not "a hispanic teenager" - white. Every time.
