Concentration

Here is The Power of Concentration by Theron Q. Dumont

If you come across any concentration materials please post them.

Here is a simple method: While your chauffeur drives you to your next board meeting quickly glance at the license plate of the car ahead of you. Immediately close your eyes and recall the license plate numbers/letters.

Sit and place the hands on something...the knees, the arms of a chair etc. Concentrate on the feeling of what is under each of the forefingers. The mind will switch from the left to right forefingers as it cannot concentrate on two things at once. Continue to try to become aware of both sensations simultaneously even though it is becomes a blur of flickers from side to side.

Have all members of your household staff wear different colour name badges. Get them to wear colourful hats in the same colour as their respective badges. When they address you, have them always say their name and announce the colour of their hat. After a few months, order them to take off the name badges and announce only the colour of their hat. You will be amazed at the ease with which you recall their names.

People don't really care if you remember their names, as long as you are consistent. Therefore, to really connect with people, call them the same thing each time you see them. It helps if you only use a few basic names like "Dave", "Alan", "Lucy" and "Bubbles" then you don't need to consider what you really want to call them. Rather, it's simply "Hi Lucy" and, if she looks at you odd say "Ha, gotcha, Bubbles". Initially she will think it's odd that you don't call her by her real name but, after a few weeks, will grow fond of the new name and think it's your pet name for her.

I know someone who calls everyone "Doctor". People love it and he is known as "Doctor". I think he just can't be bothered remembering names and likes strangers to think he's a doctor.

We might actually be friends IRL.

I also find that if you follow up a "bubbles" with a little tap on the ass, it seems to really smooth things over when you're just getting to know someone whose name isn't important enough to remember.

Still haven't found an appropriate equivalent for men. Probably not going with a nut cup.
