Re: Marvel Heads!
Why? In the end they'll fuck it up.
Doc Strange would need to = Big Phychedelic. Hollywood doean't have the balls or creativity to go there.
If you want a 70's era Marvel Character diven movie; Bring on Powerman and Ironfist!
If they had any balls they'd set it in a Neo-1970s New York with a shit load of Ninjas, Chinese Triads, Black explotation Violence, hot chicks with big feathered hair, roller skating and Disco.
Go fucking all out or go the fuck home!

Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of the free man from the slave.

I was born in 73 but I ended up with a lot of older comics from the 50's. 60's and 70's from 4 to 12.
You just made me think that probably has a lot to do with why overall I've been more into Marvel than DC.
That and they do awesome movie adaptations. The 80s were Marvel for me other than Bat-Man and a brief follow of Superman and Firestorm.
I always suspect Hollyqueer will fuck up good ideas, but good stuff gets through.
So I still want to see a badass Dr. Strange as I probably won't ever see a Sterenkoesque Nick Fury now that everyone see's Sam Jackson. (Although he does it justice)

Yep, John Vernon.
I used to watch these after school back in the 70's. They had Thor and Submariner too.

As for DC titles. this is where Batman needs to go back to to a degree.
From wikipidia
The first Batman story, "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate," was published in Detective Comics #27 (May 1939). Finger said, "Batman was originally written in the style of the pulps,"[22] and this influence was evident with Batman showing little remorse over killing or maiming criminals. Batman proved a hit character, and he received his own solo title in 1940, while continuing to star in Detective Comics. By that time, National was the top-selling and most influential publisher in the industry;

Re: Marvel Heads!
Things I would love to see a Marvel movie of:
Doctor Strange done in the psychedelic Stanko style.
A Spiderman reboot done entirely in the visual style of those crappy Krantz Films animations, with Spidey trapped in Dimentia 5.
A Thor spinoff where his drinking buddies the Warriors Three (with Sif along for eye candy) undergo a perilous side quest through the realms. It looks like they'll get screen time in Dark World, but they should get their own film.

I can find no fault with any of those.Batboy2/75 wrote:Marvel Movies I'd Like to see:

I think it was a goddamn shame that in Captain America: The First Avenger they totally failed to have young Sgt Fury (with both eyes) play a walk-on cameo during WWII. That would have made Cap awakening to meet Director Fury in the present way more awesome.
