I built this just recently, after waayyy too long a process. This was the first day it was in the water.

I'm building a boat that looks very close to this one, and hope to eventually build one I can live on for cruising.
Plans and cut sheets or full kit? That looks to be a sweet little boat.

Just plans. I'll start building the molds soon, and ordering the plywood for the hulls hopefully by October?
Working on boats for me involves a lot of standing around with a beer in my hand watching stuff dry, or thinking about what to cut next. It will take a while.

I have been remolding my house in this same fashion. It's difficult to explain this method's efficacy to the uninitiated.

You fuckers have this shit figured out. My projects involve an accumulation of material with a slowly building level of motivation followed by a fucking whirlwind of work with no beer or rest.

Whatever works. You can sail on the Delta down here, except for getting wiped out around a blind corner.
I'm just down to put a boat in the water and if we sink it, we sink it. Grip it and rip it, hear me knockin?
