This is one crazy fucked up movie but the wife and I totally dug it. It may be the best stuff Matthew McConaughey has ever done...and that's not just my opinion. MM is a cop and a professional killer on the side and when the most white trash trailer park hillbillies need some money they make a deal with him. There's a couple of laughs and Gina Gershon is looking incredibly hot regardless of being 50 years old...oh and you get to see her bush within the first 90 seconds of the movie. MM is obsequiously sinister.

I've been wanting to see this. I'm a fan of MM as well as Thomas Hayden Church.

I just watched the unrated director's cut this evening.

That is some fine American film making right there.

Never saw a MM movie before, but have seen a bit of Thomas Haden Church's work. Thought he did the best acting
in that movie.

The fried chicken leg thing has to be seen to be believed.

OK, I just watched this last night, when it was on HBO at midnight and I couldn't sleep. Of course the best scene is on Youtube. Ansel's expression at 3:48 exactly matched my own.
