So far @F certs have caused more divorces than the first and last T-Fest in 2006...Shugart exhibited poor judgement there, and I think one of the guys who was there said 9-10 divorces were fallout from that.

But I don't think any one cert has surpassed that mark.

The end of the first marriage was certainly rough on everyone, my brother not the least, but my mom and dad are happy together, and my dad's first wife is happy with her new husband, and none of that would have happened had my dad and his first wife not said "you know what, this isn't working."

Sure. The difference is, if someone leaves their family for their therapist, doctor, or teacher, that's a fucked up scenario that's unlikely to last. If you build a culture where that becomes normal, something's really wrong.
