I just met a bunch of them. Two were interested in good training, three were jackoffs who thought they knew everything already.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Those Shoreline idiots read IGx like the Satanic Bible

I actually really liked that book... If you want to be a humanist with a decent code of ethics to work with, and do some theatrical rituals here and there for "intellectual decompression," you could do a lot worse.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Those Shoreline idiots read IGx like the Satanic Bible

Yeah, but it's 100% plagiarized from 'Might is Right' and Thelemic ritual stuff from Aleister Crowley.Dr. Agkistrodon wrote:I actually really liked that book... 2. How many "Premier" @fit facilities can there be in any given area ? And why are all the 'premier" facilities selling discounted memberships via groupon?

Like dojo's. All the other places are McDojo's except for the one the person you are talking to trains at.Cave Canem wrote:1. There's been a lot of talk on other boards about the qualifications of @fit trainers. Everyone seems to agree that it takes experience and education to make a good coach and that there are lots of bad "coaches" or weekend wonders out in the @fit world. But it's funny that the bad trainers are always at other "boxes". Everybody commenting is lucky to be at the one box in the area with "good" trainers. They're like politicians. Everybody wants to drain the swamp but they keep electing the incumbents.

The prophecy is fulfilling itself. The rats are leaving the sinking ship. Instead of an Implosion of Hiroshima proportions- @fit will simply fade away as each box turns to real trainers and *Gasp* embraces individual specific programming.
But for now they are still Rats.
