He was approached by five thugs, apparently with the intent to rob him, and one killed him with a shotgun blast to the chest. Not so much...It hit it's stride on posts around 09-10. There are still groups that do it religiously but the amount of Vibrams and faggotry you witness on the day to day has decreased significantly.

Competing in CrossFit is very similar to the pit crew experience, where you have tens of thousands of people watching you and you have to perform precisely without messing up. It prepares me physically for the actual task, but it also prepares me for the performance pressure.
