I was 3. I have a vague recollection of a somber feeling everywhere. The event didn't phase me, but I watched the funeral, and thought the backwards facing boots on the lone horse were really cool. I also remember seeing John Jr. saluting, and thought we might make good friends.
I was celebrating my 3rd birthday that day. My mom was baking a cake when the news came out.
Going back a little, I was a military brat who was actually living in Cuba ( the base at Guantanamo Bay) when the Cuban Missile Crisis popped up. They loaded up the family on a Navy supply ship and ran us up to Norfolk, VA, where my Mom's parents met us. My dad was given his rifle and stuck on the fence line. Interesting times.

I sensed it in his body language and expression when he was sworn in on the airplane on live TV right after the killing.
Obama's narcissism and arrogance is only superseded by his naivete and stupidity.
