Met Kovacs in the early 90s. Same meet I also met Scott Abel.

I don't think neither were competing. I knew an amateur BB by the name of Chris Humphrey, whom was also one of the biggest anabolics dealers in North America. He would regularly go to Flint for assorted reasons and train at the Powerhouse Gym there, where I was training.

Upon chatting with Kovacs for a while, I realized

1. He was the same age as I was.
2. He had lifted weights only about 3 more years than me.

He was fucking huge. I was 195#.

People like to talk "roids roids roids!" when a guy like this passes, but did anyone stop to think it might be diabetes?? He was taking massive doses of insulin to fight this disease!
"Know that! & Know it deep you fucking loser!"

Thank you. I won't tolerate spitting on the graves of soldiers any longer by anybody here.

The Kaz/Terry one-two punch is always an unexpected preasure.

Few know what a depraved disgusting individual Terry B really is...except me, I dealt with the aftermath of his demented posting habits on the P&B for more years than I care to remember. I also started Bruv's World to draw him and Proto away from the Pibbs.

Hearing you talk about depraved individuals makes me lol almost as much as hearing you talk about fat loss. However, you need to get off that time I tricked you on webcam.

Mike Matarazzo joins the ranks of big-boi bodybuilders checking out.

On August 17, 2014, Mel Chancey, a longtime family friend, announced via Facebook that Matarazzo had died in the ICU at Sanford hospital while awaiting a heart transplant.

Rex is back on the Pibbs. Spent six months running and doing no lifting, and is now pretty weak.

One of the most common side-effects of Test is polycytemia, the increase in the circulating red blood cells and, accordingly, hematocrit. Consequences are cardiac failure and infarcts, especially with the crazy training loads. It is possible that all Kovacs needed to stay alive is to regularly shed blood to the Hb below 140 g/L (14.0 g/dL).

Another point towards the argument to legalize anabolic steroids. At least it would be possible to conduct proper observational studies on these guys, not just case reports. Obviously, not going the extreme bodybuilding route is the definite answer, but I don't think it is realistic to expect this.
