Going to Cabo
Any tips? Haven't been to Mexico in about 14 years.
Re: Going to Cabo
Mexico? Be sure to inform the State department of your intinerary.

Cabo is high on my list w/desert + ocean. If you survive, please report on the trip.

Re: Going to Cabo
Fear of Cabo because it's in Mexico is like being afraid of the Hamptons because they're in New York.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Pack sunscreen and basic intelligence.
Watch out for the numerous and never ending scams and tourist traps. Best times I've had down there involved just hanging on the beach with a beer-things involving tours, overpriced tequila bars and interactions with watch salesmen that roam the beach weren't as enjoyable.

You want to bring a few things back to help pay for the trip?

If it's anything like playa del carmen it will be awesome. I love the vibe on Mexican resorts but shit can get creepy away from the resorts.

Snot a resort, a villa. We like to absorb the local flavor when we vacation. I will be doing plenty of snorkeling and shit like that.
Re: Going to Cabo
Sunscreen whitey. Same advice I gave to Brett Jones in San Diego before he looked like a lobster.
