Re: Today in paleo craziness
From Shugart's wife in T-Nation a couple of weeks back.
I place legumes in this category because I remember buying a bag of lima beans and feeling guilty. I'd been denying my craving for them because a voice in the back of my head was saying, "Are the lectins in those beans going to keep me from burning fat!?" At the time I was on a staunch paleo regimen and didn't consume any processed food, workout nutrition, potatoes, rice, or beans. I also couldn't muster up much intensity at the gym.
These people are crazy. If I'm throwing it all away, it's not going to be on lima beans. Then yesterday she writes about the obsessiveness of fasting and how it causes eating disorders.
Feeling guilty about lima beans isn't obsessive behavior?

I've been trying to figure something in my head, and maybe you can help me out, yeah? When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading "The Paleo Diet", masturbating in your own feces, do you just stop and go, "Wow! It is amazing how fucking crazy I really am!"? Yeah. Do you guys do that?

Red dye is paleo as fuck on those sprinkles. Pretty sure it all squeezed out of beetles by third world beetle-squeezers.

What's with this "third world" crap?? Just because they don't have 3D printers doesn't make them savages!
