That would be awesome. She seems to be on the mend but I curious if they had any lingering issues with their pup. Also curious how much "less active" they were. She seems to tire out quickly so I'm guessing she's gonna be my walking buddy now instead of running. Thanks.

And she is still improving. Happy and walking/trotting in the yard. She's managing the stairs well. Still got some facial droop but if that and a little balance issues is all she's got then I'm happy.

Thanks again for all the kind words. Overall prognosis is good, but the doc said that if she had one that to expect it to happen again some time in the future. Whether that is tomorrow or 5 years from now, there is no way to know. Just that once you have one it means that another is much more likely, and the next one might be it.

On the plus side, Pai has gained back most of her gait, albeit she missteps more now. She also has a mild head tilt and some left facial droop. Other than that she is coming along well. Just finished her 3rd jog/walk and she is getting stronger. Her wind is not what it was but that is to be expected. Most of all she is as happy as she can be, and that is what matters. Hoping to get her back to hiking shape, slowly, and make some awesome memories while we still have her around.

Exactly. She is enjoying life so I'm happy.

The one on the left is the coydog rescue. She has been a pain to train but she's a good dog and very protective of the wife and property.

This is good news, Dunn. My parents' boxer-mutt-mix had a stroke (nowhere near as active as Pai, lots of knee issues and such) and always had a little bit of a droopy face, but never had another stroke. So here's hoping the both of you have years' worth of jogs ahead of you.
