IGX Docs and medically savvy individuals

Post by Holeyfraggaroley »

What is normal for Test levels and Thyroid Cascade. My doc says they are normal. I surfed around and they seem to be on the edge of normal.
I am 45.

I had mild depression that was being treated with sertaline for about 5-6 years. (It was during the time my Dad had Alzheimers and died and my brother got cancer and died.) I figured some of the symptoms that I thought were maybe low T were from the anti depressants. I stopped taking them about 3 months ago. Glad I did, but still had issues. I can roll all the symptoms out, but really only if would help.

Total T 362 From what I have read that seems low for my age.
Free T 14

THyroid
TSH 2.7 ulU/ml

My cholesterol is
LDL 163
HDL 34
Trigly 246 yes its high I will work on it

Thanks in advance

I posted mine in a thread on the TF a while back when I got a physical done a couple of years ago. My Total was 577 and my free was 13. I don't think I had my Thyroid tested. Here is the link to the thread. BD states that if your free T is below 400 you should be on something.

total T. IMO should not go below 400. I got a scrip for T at a level of 359. For a man age 45, "normal" is around 500. Medically necessary is right around 250

see TF thread re: same

I'm at 705 with injections. Free is 48. Controlling the estrogen is the hard part. I use epistane.

The suits are well over and awards ordered; they're advertising for victims or the relatives of deceased T replacement patients to line up at the trough to collect.

A question for those on replacement therapy...what, if applicable, are you doing to control elevated rbc count?

lower the RBC by giving block regularly. I also have blood work done every quarter to check on this very level. Never a problem for me.

Howdy, Pappy! Still old and toothless? Getting any lately? Anyone ever find my car keys?

I ain't been anywhere, just living life, etc. I forgot my password and locked out my account a long time ago - 8 years? - and couldn't reset it because I didn't know what email I'd used to create the account. Gave up after a few days, devoted my prodigious intellect elsewhere. But I remembered the password today for some reason.

If you list every impressive old guy in the history of the world, exactly zero of them took T replacement therapy. The number of idiots in the world increases exactly in line with population, it seems. It's okay to be retarded if you don't have a choice in the matter, I suppose, but willingly swallowing every barge full of propaganda that pulls up to the dock seems to be abdication of responsibility for one's own life. This case is the perfect scam, because it medically validates being a noodle dicked weak sister.

Know what I mean?

PS, an interesting thread might be a survey of the mature IGers who use their dicks regularly for their intended purpose, can lift more than all the twerps at the gym, and don't know or care what their T levels are. In general, if you eat right, aren't fat, religiously shove Old Willie in a dark hole and make him do pushups until he pukes as the good lord intended, and lift heavy things via strenuous full body exercises (squat), you don't need to know. If you don't do these things, taking drugs won't make you more male. If you can't do these things, maybe it's finally time to admit the truth to yourself and switch to goat porn or whatever it is that actually causes the position of attention. Start lusting after altar boys and I bet your lifts go up, Francis.

Yep. Know what you mean. Have you checked out that Silver Sneakers program yet? I heard it burns fat and builds muscle like a motherfucker. Some 450 lb fat lady neighbors of mine are taking tap dance lessons. One them said she's getting stronger.

IMO it seems to make more sense to try controlling estrogen first and see where your T levels off before considering replacement. Unless you just want to take T, in which case just take it already.

Your HDL is pretty low.
But when I stand in front of the mirror and really look, I wonder: What the fuck happened here? Jesus Christ. What a beating!

ignoring the hype is a productive use of one's time, I've found. it's definitely hopeless, so why try? - the dummies will line up to open their wallets immediately upon getting their buttons pushed by any of the tried and true methods, and there isn't a thing that can be done. willful ignorance, herd psychology, and the suggestion of sex with young hot stuff cannot be overcome by rationality. That's why today's honest athlete always becomes tomorrow's sport science con man.

testosterone replacement therapy: think what it might have done for:

Jem Mace
Jack LaLanne

etc

PS, anything works for 450 pound fat ladies and the typical deconditioned couch spud. if she keeps at her tap dancing, she might lose 300 pounds. if it can be properly packaged, the infomercials and dvd sets inevitably follow. you should get in on the ground floor, set up your certification authority, and get authorized classes going at the local gold's. Pilates and Zumba and Crossfit are all as passe as brazilian jujitsu, the time is right for the Next Big Thing.

PPS, Jem Mace was a boxer. He fought in his 70s, and fucked as many women as possible as often as possible throughout his life. Everyone should read his autobio.

Jack Lalanne didn't even have any kettlebells. That's puzzling.

he doesn't talk much about his dozens of kids and serial bigamy, buy the sharp eyed reader will deduce the relevant facts about T replacement vs poontang therapy. If you don't like girls, there must be some equivalent NAMBLA geriatric stud for emulation.

the bios are easier to find than the autobio

PS, LaLanne's young wife got hers daily. in an interview in his 80s, he said his 'dick's so hard the cat can't scratch it'.

That's why you don't need TRT. The chicken-egg angle is interesting, though, for those who do:

Does being a limpdicked no-nut pussyboy come first or second? If you can't get a chubby for the old ball and chain but have no problem when perusing the online young stuff (or goat porn, NAMBLA, etc.), is it worth the heart attack, stroke, death, etc., risk to get the patch or implant or gel when a daily shot of actually attractive Vitamin P will solve the problem as Our Lord And Savior intended? Jesus didn't give you a dick so that Pfizer could get richer, nor did he fill your head so full of those sinful thoughts to test your resolve. Go on and nail that goat - as long as she's female, you aren't queer.

I have a buddy 2 years older than me. He got a new 30-something gal in his house a while back, and was telling me how great viagra is. A few months later I asked him about it, and he acted like he never tried it. Vitamin P cures all, as long as it isn't fat, old, wrinkled, and/or dry. This is why it's often worth half of everything a fellow owns to be free to pursue the life-giving, anti-aging variety. If you're really smart, you'll pay for it so you can go back to watching TV right away. No need to subject one's self to the negative cognitive effects of listening to them talk if you don't have to.

Funny, I know guys who have told me (viagra, cialis, test replacement) is great, then deny they ever mentioned it a few months later.
