Found a stray dog last Friday. Looks to be a pureblood Black Lab, spayed recently, looks like puppies were aborted at the same time, young, about a year old, skinny but good condition. Very friendly, very eager to please, can sit and is housebroken, but not well trained...puppyish. She really is a sweet dog.
After looking for the owner over the weekend and over the last few days, the last vet office I talked to told me that she was probably dropped off in our neighborhood...it's apparently a pretty common event, where some dirtbag who decides not to take care of their dog, drops it off. Usually it's pitbulls, they told me.
She's a nice dog, but I can't keep her, I have two already. I suspect with training she'll be a great dog for someone. Looking for a rescue organization or no kill shelter to take her, but most of them want you to foster the dog and bring it to the adoption events on the weekend. I could probably do this for another 2 weeks, but we're going to be travelling this summer in July.
I'd like to punch the fucking cunt who dropped her off in the face.

I get the feeling somebody has a lot more time on their hands since they left NASA. Excellent work regardless.

Thank you brosephus but it's so much more the other way around. A software startup versus a civil servant job. Night/Day, or Shaf/Skinny in IGx vernacularShapecharge wrote:I get the feeling somebody has a lot more time on their hands since they left NASA. Excellent work regardless.
