I saw a clip of Cecep and Iko in the kitchen fight, which I enjoyed. I'll have to pick this up though.

It's on PPV right now. Been wanting to watch it but haven't had time plus Mrs. Shape is always delighted to cuddle up and watch a subtitled Malaysian martial arts flick.

I really enjoyed the first one, although I don't think it deserved some of the accolades...GREATEST ACTION FILM OF ALL-TIME!!!!!! and all that horseshit, etc. This one is slow for about an hour and then it just erupts. I was surprised by how unevenly the fights were choreographed. There are some legit fight scenes in here that has some crazy shit that you've never seen before. Other scenes just seem to be standard Jackie Chan type fare.

The story is what kills it. The first one was great because it had a Die Hard meets the survival horror genre with jaw dropping fight scenes thrown on top of it. Very intense, very edge of your seat once it gets rolling. This has NONE of that going for it. If you like those pretentious and brooding Chink cop dramas like Infernal Affairs and all that crap then this is right up your alley because that's basically what it is...young guy goes under cover and infiltrates a crime family, blah blah blah, seen it a hundred times except for the video game boss characters like Claw Hammer girl and Baseball Bat guy.

There is some great stuff going on when the fighting is happening, but on the balance it just collapses under the weight of a story that nobody could possibly give a fuck about.

This is better than 75% of the fights in the movie.

Two observations:

1. If there was some blade work in this video Tom Furman's head would explode.

2. If the chick's tits were 257 percent larger Tom Furman's nutz would explode.
