That's some tragic irony right there.
Yeah, that through crossed my mind too....
It's hard to not at least suspect that was by design and the mope was heading to Sheepshead Bay, not Bed Stuy to 'put wings on pigs'....so it will be interesting to hear what the scuttlebutt is on that as the onion is peeled back.

I think that the media was surprised as well. I read a few initial reports that "white cops" were shot...then they released their names.

Does anyone know Kaz IRL? I can't imagine he's doing well in light of his absence on these recent threads.

He's been seeing more people than usual down at the clinic. They are doing good work trying to help folks work through this Eric Garner thing.

It looks like the ring-masters of this rioting monkey circus happen to be, to absolutely no one's surprise at all, the chosen people.

The "Jews for Racial & Economic Justice" released a statement last week after four of their evil race-baiting rabbis were arrested for evil race-baiting. In their own words:
Image

STATEMENTS FROM RABBIS AND JEWISH ACTIVISTS AFTER CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE ACTION DEMANDING POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY AND REFORM

Prominent NYC rabbis and Jewish community leaders blocked traffic on Upper West Side - 96th street and Broadway - as part of #ThisStopsToday protests

New York, NY – On the late evening of Thursday December 4, 27 people, including four rabbis (Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, Rabbi Jill Jacobs, Rabbi Shai Held, and Rabbi David Rosenn) were arrested following an Upper West Side protest in which demonstrators blocked traffic on 96th street. The protest was organized by Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ), in coordination with the #ThisStopsToday coalition, in responses to a Staten Island Grand Jury's failure to indict Daniel Pantaleo, the NY police officer responsible for the chokehold homicide of Eric Garner, and growing national outrage over the systemic lack of accountability for the killing and discriminatory and abusive targeting of people of color by the police.
etc. etc. etc.

Plenty more evidence out there that it's these satanic rabble-rousers that are fueling the flames of all this nonsense. It's a good job they've got the media tied up or else people might just cotton on to what's really down.

Those Rabbis you mentioned aren't exactly mainstream.

Protesters gathered to yell at New York police officers mourning their slain colleagues outside a memorial on Monday night.

The group of five people were heard shouting about Eric Garner and Michael Brown at the corner in Brooklyn where officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were shot dead on Saturday afternoon, which is now covered in flowers and tributes.

Are you kidding? I'm happier than a pig in shit. Recent events have done nothing but further prove all of my pet theories around race and culture. The only thing that could make all of this better is if Mike Brown's mother got busted for solicitation, and Ray Rice kicking that bitch of his down an escalator.

The NYPD’s chief of department abruptly quit Friday rather than take a promotion from Police Commissioner Bill Bratton that the chief believed was a powerless position setting him up for failure, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

Philip Banks III was to be promoted to first deputy commissioner at a ceremony Monday but backed out at the last minute during a heated meeting at Police Headquarters, sources said.

“You still have not done anything. You have not changed the direction of the Police Department. You asked me to come up with six or seven policies that you did not implement,” Banks fumed at the city’s top cop.

“The department is just going to go further into turmoil, and I don’t want to get blamed for that.”

The move left the NYPD without a black or Hispanic person in any of its top three positions after Bratton’s ouster of First Deputy Rafael Pineiro, who resigned under pressure in September.

My cousin was at the funeral today and posted a cell phone video of all the cops turning their backs when DiBlasio spoke.

This is not a bash on Dems (Koch was pretty much a stud as far as NYC mayors go), but hot holy fuck, there must not have been a lot of voters left in NYC who remember the Dinkins-era, and this guy seems a helluva lot worse (even before the Garner GJ decision).

Did he at least arrive on time for the funeral?
On Friday evening, thousands of New Yorkers attended a memorial service for Rafael Ramos, one of the two NYPD officers assassinated a week ago by an Eric Garner protester. The service brought mourners from every corner of the city. Noticeably late was embattled Mayor Bill de Blasio, who made it to the service only just before its conclusion.

Apparently not.
