They wasted 30 fucking minutes (of a < 60 minute episode) on that stupid whoremom storyline
And, YES, I wanted to see Quin cappin hajis like a muhfugga. They should have made a two hour finale that
1) left Quin in a compromised position seeking extraction or captured by the Pakis post killing spree
2) Left the Saul/Dar Adal situation open
3) Connected Carrie's mom to the fuckin storyline or left her the hell out of it
4) brought back Brody
Kidding w/ that last one, I really did think he was coming back though. I thought maybe when she was driving to Missouri. Couldn't think of any other reason for that thread to be included in the story.

This last episode has been an homage to James Rebhorn, the actor playing Carrie's father, who died early this year of melanoma.

I actually didn't hate the finale.
It was a letdown compared to the previous couple of episodes, but not terrible.

Claire Dane's acting was superb.baffled wrote:I actually didn't hate the finale.

I think she goes between passable to very good. Not sure I'd ever use "superb" for anyone on the show other than Mandy Patinkin the first season or two.
I think the show has some very cool directions it can take, but who knows what it'll do. What a freakin' roller coaster of a show it's been.
