Either that, or he is that guy from AZ who writes these loooooooong brick posts over Dan John's forum. But I'm pretty sure this is Rant on his mood-swing meds, tripping high.
You guys are really not as sharp or as perceptive as IGX members are purported to be. I have posted to Rip's board. You could find me if you want to waste enough time but you'd still think I was somebody else which for me is a good thing. The books I wrote will most probably bring a fatwah down on me as well as enrage a significant portion of the orthodox Jewish community and it'd be better if Rant or AZ is beheaded on a youtube video. I'd rather die surfing. there's nothing I could do to convince you i'm someone else that i'm willing to do which is fine. so i'm already one step ahead of the game.
In the Chasidic tradition there's a saying, "Those who know don't tell and those who tell don't know." And
"If you want to know what to do ask a fool and do the opposite or a wise man and do what he says." Since there are a lot more fools in the world than people with wisdom I generally do the opposite. YMMV
As I wrote in my intro outro letter that's probably been deleted off IGX you don't know if I'm a precocious teenager whose parents should take away my Ipad, Ipod, computer, smart phone and wash my mouth out with soap. Does it make a difference who I am? I'm just another שלמ'על on planet earth who wishes he had the body of a ten year old. It would make surfing a helluva a lot easier but I couldn't be paid enough to relive my life. I'm glad I'm not young in a world like this and on my way outta here.
Reb Nachman of Bresslov (a 19th century Chasidic master) said עולמ הזה Oilam Hazeh, this world was גיהינום Gehinom, traditionally translated as hell but as stated in the aforementioned Intro Outro letter a state of consciousness after death in which one is left alone in a deep silence with no place to hide to review their life. For some this would be hell although sometimes I wonder about the people without a conscience like our political leaders who in one British study have very similar characteristics to psychopaths probably because they are psychopaths. Gehinom where parents sacrificed their children to the god Moloch in ancient times is actually about a 20 minute walk from me in Jerusalem. Cinemateque and Mt. Zion overlook it. I watched Phiiippe Petit, the French tightrope walker make it across from the former to the latter, and then grab a rope from a helicopter with one arm and flew over Jerusalem. A splendid time was had by all although I'm not sure about his girl friend who probably wondered if the dove inside his shirt would push him off the wire. About halfway on the wire he opened his shirt and released it. He did a lot of these stunts for free and got busted but here they paid him forty thousand dollars by some government agency in this country. As great as his performance was, the money should have gone to charity. I was going to make some kind of a snide comment about you guys and where this country is at these days but thought better of it. Jews have been expelled from every country in the world except India. American Jews think it can't happen but you never know. Why should I add fuel to the antisemitic fire which reminds me of a great Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention song.

Somebody donated ten bucks to left wing listener supported radio station WBAI in New York City to hear this played on the radio which is where I first heard it in 1967
For those who like British mysteries, Grantchester is worth watching. If you like Morse and it's spinoffs, you'll probably like Grantchester. Masterpiece Mystery is running through the first series now.
Wow. Just watched episode 1 of Wallander and it was magnificent. Kenneth motherfucking Branagh for the win. It's Hank V "band of brothers
Yes. Just watched the first dvd of Wallander this past week also. I've run out of good shit to watch so this was a pleasant surprise. Ordered Henry V, Only saw that
once when it first was released on videotape, so that ought to be good too.
buckethead wrote:Black Mirror is fantastic so far. Loved the first two
Meh... It's all way too predictable. Utopia is much better.
You already posted that. We got it, Utopia is the best show ever
Not really. But Black Mirror is a shitty show, made for people with no taste who never read a sci-fi book and who actually enjoyed the (vomit inducing) Matrix Trilogy.
