For that reason, we should be locked up in our own countries, segregated from other types, and hidden behind walls that are guarded with gun toting white fanatics in order to keep out others and protect them from our inherent evil. Our touchy feely tech overlords have tons of STEM trained Americans to meet their employment needs but they are trying to drastically expand H-1B visas to lower personnel costs which is simply a modern robber baron move at the expense of Americans.

No country is immune to infection, but policies, standards, and enforcement are still the first (and best) line of defense. What the US and Europe are doing is tantamount to rolling around in puddles of medical waste.

You show me where we have trained Americans in IT who are sitting at home due to H1B visa holders taking their jobs. They do not exist. H1B's aren't taking your vanilla network admin/help desk spots; they're software developers, database developers/admins, and the like. Also, in my experience, H1's who work towards being I-140 approved and ultimately get their EAD/Green Card work the American dream far better and harder than most Americans ever imagine doing. They tend to get fairly Americanized in the sense that they never force feed their ways on anyone (I've eaten more than a few bacon cheeseburgers having lunch with Indians), they buy homes in good school districts, pay taxes and all that jazz. The cost for an employer to hold an H1B visa and then go through the hoops of GC processing is in the vicinity of $25k-$30k spread out over a couple of years, so it's not exactly a bargain. Now utilizing H1's for staff augmentation is another matter, but still, we do not have enough qualified Americans to fill those jobs....not even close.

I have to agree with this. I can find a million pale faces out there to set-up PC's, manage server environments, run the shit out of our LAN/SAN/Data Domain, etc., and the cast ends up looking like a Brady Bunch reunion show with a sprinkle of neckbeards and NRA types for "diversity". When it comes time to look for people who can operate in the development and high end enterprise software world, the bodies aren't falling ripe off of the Anglo vine.

FWIW, I dig the fuck out of most Indians...after all, they are Aryans with a tan. All in all, a good class of immigrant. They come here to run businesses and better themselves through application of skills/education in high end careers within the confines of the game that is being played here.
