I'm getting a little cynical here.....

For those who might not know, the largest US population of Somalis is in MN.

I have met exactly one friendly Somali here in the Twin Cities....and she was a cashier at a mall. Nasty ass people on the whole has been my experience. Even some of the progressive lefties in Eden Prairie, MN, (to include one of my good friends who is a very liberal native Chicagoan and Northwestern grad) are having tizzy fits over school redistricting to accommodate these people and there are violent incidents caused by them in the high school that does not make the news.

I've said for years that MOA has to be a very attractive target. Come to think of it, it would be a piece of cake for all those Somali cab drivers to snarl the fuck out of traffic over there to keep emergency services to getting there quickly, too, if they were so inclined.

I had a Somali cabdriver in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004. When I asked him about khat he got all excited.

The only thing worse than a Muslim or a ni66er is a Muslim ni66er. I'm always glad to hear about progressive minded folks having to get up close and personal with ethnic and cultural diversity outside of a textbook or a corporate workshop. Look for private schools and homeschooling co-ops to thrive in your region if they aren't already. Public schools are being turned into shit in this country from the unholy trinity of welfare mom raised "dindu nuffin" ruffian ni66ers, non-English speaking and vaccination no comprende river jumpers, and heathen carpet sniffing Mooslims from every Turd World terrorist hotspot on the globe.

Cue the IGX leftist contingent to come in now and lecture me on how this parallels 19th century Irish-Italian immigration patterns, and echo Obama's fairy tale narratives of how Muslims stood shoulder-to-shoulder with ni66ers and chinks and built this nation while whitey sat on the privilege porch and drank lemonade.

The result of all this unfettered immigration and unchecked ni66er fucking? Real terrorist concerns in the heartland, and everyone's quality of life and overall security sliding slowly into the quagmire of Turd World reality.

Would you live in Africa? Would you live in Mexico? Would you live in the Middle East? Would you live in the darkest ni66er ghetto of your nearest urban center? If the answer is no, then wake the fuck up people because it is coming to YOU.

At least in Virginia in the unlikely event of a terrorist attack in a mall their "no guns allowed" signs have no force of law. If a CHP holder's gun is noticed, the most they can do is ask you to leave.

I've met numerous Africans from across the continent. South Africans and Kenyans were great people. I also met folks from Uganda, Rwanda, and a few other mostly Christian nations, and they were making a go. But the handful of Somalis I've met were at least standoffish, some were just flat out unfriendly assholes. And every one of them, and this is just a generalization, right, but every one of them bitched that the government wasn't giving them enough welfare/education/opportunity/etc

Can we throw Haitians in with this mess. Most un-friendly, useless, class of criminals I have ever dealt with.

They're standoffish to each other until they figure out their clan affiliations and how close they or aren't connected. If close, they re-greet each other.

There's a huge Somali contingent in Portland, Maine as well. All the yankee Mainers who denigrate "the south" on issues like Ferguson, MO, all talk out of the other side of their mouths when it comes to their local Somali refugees. Coming from Central Florida, where we had tons of Haitian and other West Indies immigrants, I didn't blink an eye at the Somalis in Maine, but apparently the locals are quite taken aback by them.

A buddy of mine arrives in Somalia today to teach a class to some of whatever passes for elites over there. I don't see Somalis here, but refugees from failed states probably don't represent well.

I work in a Somali-rich environment. My town had the first high profile khat bust in the US. But I have met Somalis who appreciate the opportunities here.

We had a bunch come with us and serve as linguists/interpreters when I deployed to Djibouti. Good guys.

I understand that khat has to be picked and delivered fast, as it perishes and can't be stored. Is that wrong?

We have exhausted my knowledge of the subject. Maybe the US buyers wanted it for traditional/sentimental reasons, like Lite Beer or Coors?
