It's one of those places where you can pick your level of grunt. When I went, I had first-timers with me.
Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the trails of Bootleg Canyon: These are three of the man-made wonders of southern Nevada.

Local trail builder Brent Thomson and associates have created an extensive network of both cross-country and downhill-specific trails (including Elevator Shaft's 22 percent grade!) that have been hailed as some of the best in the nation. There are 36 miles of trail in all a network of interconnecting trails that can be linked in countless ways to make a ride of any length and difficulty. You can even shuttle to the top.

I flew into Vegas on my way to a mil base in the California desert one time. Got into Vegas around 11:00 PM, drove downtown and hung out watching the freaks for a while. Then drove north and on into Death Valley National Park through the night, climbing on the road out of the valley and on up to the west rim and taking a dirt road to an overlook. From there, watched the sun rise over the far mountains, not a single freaking person in sight anywhere. That was cool. Well, to be honest there was a dead tranny hooker I strangled earlier in the trunk but otherwise no one was around.

I don't think I'm the right person to assess that.

I remember watching this bevy of what looked like women bachelor partiers all dancing together, and all of the sudden this really old looking dude, like 70+ or something, jumped out there right into the middle of them and just started busting moves, like Fred Astaire might have. Must have been a professional dancer at some point. Just danced with one hot babe after another for about 10 minutes. A few feet away are these fat midwesterners totally heads down on the slot machines, completely oblivious to the free show going on right there.
Don’t believe everything you think.

So, I've kinda got a bullshit Zumanity story. Wife and I go out late for dinner and after a few drinks and a bottle of wine I've got a pretty good buzz on. We get to wherever the fuck Zumanity is at and the wife got us great seats right next to the stage floor. Before the show starts they have some of the performers just wondering around the stage. Anyway standing right in front of me was the most perfect, sexy, awsome pair of legs and feet in a high strappy heel and fistnet stockings. I had never seen a pair of legs like that from like two feet away. I look at my wife and say something like, "holy shit baby, do you see those fucking legs?!?" And my wife turns to me and gives me this look like I'm a total idiot and says, "you know that's a guy, right?" And for fuck's sake it was a dude...with no shirt on. Just walking around in strappy heels and fishnets. Sitting so close, and being kinda fucked up, I never looked up and saw the rest of him. Dang, I maybe shouldn't tell this story.

Bedlam 0-0-0 wrote:The Mob Museum is great! It is really well put together and one of my favorite museums. http://themobmuseum.org/

The Fremont street area has under gone a renovation and a lot of new hip businesses. There is a small business incubator built out of shipping containers that is supposed to be pretty neat (businesses get cheap rent for 6 months or a year so they can figure out if they can pull it off or not without having to incur extreme amounts of debt).

The Pinball Hall of Fame is fun if you are into silver balls. http://www.pinballmuseum.org/
Mob museum is great. I went there afterwards ended up in the Freemont area at a corporate party for Zappos. Yes to both

The best thing about Vegas is this place hands down bitches:

https://plus.google.com/115325868954361 ... l=us&hl=en

One of the cooler bars in America back in the day. In the middle of Gay Town but not gay or at least wasn't... Excellent place to get shit faced during the day and then roll over to the Hard Rock pool. There is a giant sign in there that says "YOU PUKE YOU CLEAN".

Local dive with killer greasy bar food and my friend Tony is still 86'd for writing a bad check for 200 bucks in 1990.

My Grade School

Desert in The Naked City right behind a strip club. Sooooo good.

The Vegas desert sucks ass.

Bryce Canyon and Zion are the tits.

Go to Flagstaff to beat the heat at least once.

Went out with her for 3 months like 6 years ago and she sucked cock like a champ. Has an ass like a 14 year old boy though eeeeesh.

Pricey Beer and Whisky Bar with excellent selection

Another hipster bar with incredible juke box

Cheap crazy good late night Hawaiian food

If the Gold's Gym at 4720 W Sahara Ave is still there check it out.

I will think of more.
