Post by nafod »

Few possibilities. Milk with apples is a good start. Adding aw eggs to it adds flavor. Garlic produces various effects. In short, foods not associated with the animal mxed with shit that can brew and rot in the gut. People notice. Personal observation over decades. Oh yeah: herring, apples and sour cream. The doc will be delighted. The dog, dog will be.

I cannot condone the practice of feeding dogs food they're not ah'sposed to eat so they'll crop-dust your family and friends, it could hurt the dog if you're not careful.

My theory is if the dog eats it, he was supposed to eat it. Inshallah.

When I said "anything", by the way, that didn't include Brussels sprouts. If Brussels sprouts grew on a stick, he'd eat the stick. Not the sprouts.

Play something from your music collection. The dog will either start farting or hang himself.

I had a dog that would and could literally eat anything. I never saw him eat a car battery but I wouldn't have bet money against him on it either.

Yes, Purina and Hills have 100+ years of conditioning pet owners that dogs have dainty systems and they want you to think 'people food' is dangerous to dogs and cats. Utter horseshit. My dog is munching on a big hunk of raw beef knuckle bone from the grocery store as I type this.

Brussels sprouts basically do grow on a stick.

we have a dog that digs and eats carrots, plucks cucumbers from the trellis, picks tomatoes, and eats asparagus stalks. he also has a taste for coyote shit. well, basically, for everything.

to say a dog will eat "anything" is redundant. the definition of dog is a four-legged friend (and sometimes protector) who views his mission to eat his way through life.

That same dog of mine, while I was in the garden digging up dandelions by their roots and tossing them over my shoulder was right beside me, wolfing down the dandelions as if they were filet mignon.

Just change his food. We picked some same-but-different food on the way to Madison last year with the dogs. The puppy started farting in the outside seating portion of a bar and grill. I was downwind of him, so it took me a while to figure it out, but the smell was incredibly offensive.

We had to leave. People thought it was hilarious once they realized it was a tiny pup ruining everybody's meal.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
