Maybe it faded. Knucky I had an '05 WRX STi that I put a little extra money into...exhaust, chip, under drive pulley, short throw etc. That fucking care was awesome. The problem was I was getting stopped all the time. Of coarse I insisted in the rally blue with gold wheels and huge wing so kinda my fault. Never caught a ticket but it was only a matter of time something bad was gonna happen. Miss that car. So I'm down with what your talking about here.knuckles wrote:Shape.Have you even looked at one ? In this thread you see references to the Speed 3,WRX etc . Its a cool little car . All made in Germany. Not for everybody I guess. Pussy? Get the Vette and an eight ball ,throw on some gators come on over to the east side...
Guys I appreciate your trip down mammary lane but I kinda need a daily driver that will start each morning when I need it to. The pics of cars you fingered your first girl (or guy) in is sweet but impractical for my robust needs of reliably, and gangster shit I have going down on occasion. Having the only '68 silver Malibu SS with bullet holes in it makes it difficult to blend in.

Fucking Tacoma is the best midsize truck out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck your Ford!!!!!! Toyota, bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dead man walking wrote:i've got an '04 ranger 4 wd, manual with roll-up windows. reliable and doesn't bog down on hills around here. ford is no longer making the ranger, so not sure what comes next, but a small truck meets most of my hauling needs, and fuel costs aren't excessive.
for those special occasions, i've also got an '04 f-350 4wd , dually, 7.3l diesel 1-ton dump.

75K?
I'd get a 2015 Mustang GT convertible and something for winter and everyday like a Subaru Forester XT or WRX.

Toyota's lasting accomplishment was the 81-90 Land Cruiser and 22re motor...everything in the US market after that is essentially feeble.

In no particular order, my priorities are:
- Gas mileage
- Reliability (will drive it to 300K+ miles)
- Holds the family (but we take two cars for trips where we have a ton of shit)
- Holds the mountain bikes
- Carries the kayaks, skis, and stuff like that
- Trailer hitch for light trailer
- Cost
Nowhere on there is what it looks like. I put that love into boats and planes. I'd own a Vespa if it could do all of the above.

Blade, what the hell is wrong with you. You're usually on the money on most shit but you are all over the place on this one. You're gonna toss in that crazy ass Cadillac? They do have that ATS-V that's well regarded but I tremble at the thought of resale and what it may look like 3-4 years down the road. The new C7 Vette is slowly moving to the top of the list.

It hauls exactly what I need it to haul. My bike, landscaping supplies, stones (see landscaping supplies), hauling off trash, the occasional appliance, etc. Lumber can be tricky. I can add a roof rack or other type racks if I need to do so. And the first generation Tacomas (1995-2004), I had a 2002 and will be getting a 2002-2004, are fantastic offroad. The Crawdaddy wrote:THe only thing it can haul is a fucking scooter. Like I said, perfect for what I need. I drove a friend's full size truck (newer full size Chevy) and it's too big and awkward and doesn't really fit me for my purposes. Have you ever tried to park one of those big bastards. I hated driving it back and forth on the interstate to work everyday as well.

If hauling dead bodies, you really need a trunk.
Don’t believe everything you think.
