Hanglow Joe I think you are right about the beginning of Can't You Hear Me Knocking. I want all guitars to sound like that, and I am always crushed when the long instrumental portion begins.

Favorite Stones for me goes:
1) Let It Loose
2) Gimme Shelter*
3) Hang Fire
*I think Gimme Shelter is objectively a better song and maybe even the greatest rock song of all time, but I enjoy Let It Loose a bit more.
Monkey Man, Rocks Off, Torn and Frayed, Tumbling Dice, Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker), She's a Rainbow, 19th Nervous Breakdown, Winter, and Jumpin Jack Flash round out the top 12 for me but in different orders depending on the day.

Keef songs are awesome. His solo album (maybe he made more than one) with the XPensive Winos was pretty solid too.

Loved Keith's album. Shouldn't Take It So Hard is a great tune. Saw them again back in 2006, played a heavy dose of Let It Bleed. Also threw in Sweet Virginia from Exile. Mick was carrying the band.

Have you guys seen the video from LA 1975 of Keith singing Happy? So stoned and drunk, Mick basically had to save the day and sing lead.

As soon as Can't You Hear Me Knocking transitions into the coda, I turn it off.
