Not necessarily a product that'd get a lot of use from IG types as it only goes to 52.5 lbs each, but I got a pair for my wife for Valentine's Day (she wanted a set of dumbells to work on her swiss ball with)
These are a very nice, extraordinarily easy to use product. Dial the weight you want (from 5-52.5 lbs in like 2.5 lb increments) and lift. They look like dumbells instead of square like a powerblock. (not sure why this matters, but feels better in my hand than my dad's powerblocks) While I was in the stored (to the dismay of the store owners) I loaded one to the 52.5 lbs and shook it vigorously over my head then tossed and caught it a few times to see if I could break it with ballistic like moves. I repeated this with a bunch of weights dialed in. The thing is solid and sturdy.
The downsides:
Price: 400 bucks (although the alternative was to plate load or get a bunch of cast DBs(this latter option would cost as much as the Selectech)) Given that these will be kept in the living room where my wife works out, space and a sense of neatness is an issue. (at least to my wife, whose opinion is paramount)
The only other con is that they don't go up to 80 or 100lbs. That would make them damn near perfect.
Bottom line: if you have use for dumbells of this weight, or a family member who does, these are a very convenient, space efficient and well designed option.
PS. I'll probably use them myself for assorted exercises that don't require much weight
