The trailer is way better than the movie. Maybe it would be good in 3d. I don't know. The action kind of stunk, the acting stunk, the story was dumb, and it was kind of boring. Very disappointed.

Do you not read movie reviews in advance?

How does this compare to "Jupiter Rising" or whatever that movie was?

I didn't see Jupiter rising, but it was less boring than "into the woods" and less dumb than hotel Transylvania. The giant cobras were cool. halfway through, once it got past the dumb plot setup it moved faster. The 10 and 12 year old boys liked it. 8th grade girls thought it was awful. I do think 3d might lend it something as the cinematography in 2d was bleah, but I can imagine it would be much more exciting in 3d.

And this. We've found that most movie reviewers aren't tweens and therefore not reliable.

You can't go by half the critics anymore, all they give 5 stars to is films that are boring movies about some social issue that's in vogue.

Cool graphics and the fact that " It's got the guy from 300!" is enough that my 10 year old wants to see this. Good thing for DVD, he can see it and I can ignore it.

I love shitty movies but they have to know they are action porn and not try to be anything else.
