You know, I see those "I don't unfriend people because of their political blah, blah, blah" messages and think "Huh? Really?"... FB is entertainment for me - I avoid people I don't want to talk to in real life and Facebook isn't any different in that respect. I dumped a few earlier this year from FB (people I actually knew) - there are some "opinions" I just don't need to put up with on my feed, and I can only stand so much stupid.

If people don't like the things I post and want to unfriend me, totally fine - I spend far too much time on FB bullshit as it is anyway.

Lost Zero friends. I seldom post on political subjects, but, quite purposely, have FB "friends" from across the political spectrum. That way FB isn't such an echo chamber.

I didn't lose any. Hid a lot from my feed. I don't generally post political stuff or comment on it.

I did hide the ones posting propaganda bullshit from blog type sites (ie, not actual journalism) and that goes for both sides. As well as the "Hillary supporter/liberals/democrats are all . . . " and "Trump supporters/conservatives/republicans are all . . . "

Someone was sharing a video today about how Mitt Romney won the popular vote in 2012 and because of that the pro-hillary protestors were hypocrites. Ignorance kind of irritates the shit out of me. If you have facebook, you have google . . . .

I haven't lost any. I think a shitload of people have unfollowed me either because they can't stand the difference of opinion or because I just post too much political shit. I can't stop myself, and I think a lot of it is just funny.
I also haven't made my fiancé cry in a long time, but I think she's just gotten used to it.

A good friend of mine, who several IGxers know, was a big Bernie supporter, and ended up voting for Johnson, as did his wife.
So people were giving them shit for screwing up the election.
She posted some 538 article that said that statistically, third party party voters didn't cost HRC the election, and a guy called her a bitch. I really wish I could be at the same Christmas party as all three of them this year. It should be interesting.

She told me she wore an "I'm a Deplorable" shirt to vote. I told her I think she broke federal election law, and as a strict constitutionalist I must now report her. Maybe Trump will pardon her with a wave of his sausage fingered groper. That would make her day!

I went to high school with a guy in Virginia who was super active in Trump campaign. If I weathered his storm of posts...I literally couldn't read that fast.

I get it - no one is more disgusted by the "Oh, I'm so distraught I can't go to class and learn" whining than me.

On the other hand, I do know people that have been on the receiving end of some pretty despicable shit based on their color/ethnicity. It's not all lies. Sorry, but I do think Trump has something to do with that and that's not okay.
