I went to it last night. Really liked it. It was a good alien movie for a date night.

I agree. It's an excellent movie. My wife, who typically hates science fiction, also really liked it.

I loved the way the alien would splatter his spooge on the glass wall and then was like, "Hey Louise...I just sent you a message"

So, no one thought this was just another Hollywood call to end xenophobia and welcome aliens to our midst?

Shit, Niggah. That assumes a single timeline for the universe. It may be branching continuously, and in another parallel universe she does not do exactly the same.

Or the glimpses into the future may just be constraints, like tying down two ends of a rope. Infinite possibilities for how the rope lies between those points.
