Poor Donny's getting demoralized by the all the meanies

Post by milosz »

It’s not about one tweet, it’s not about one picture, it’s about a constant theme. It’s about sitting here every time, and being told, “No. Well we don’t think he can do that, he’ll never accomplish that, he can’t win that, it won’t be the biggest, it’s not gonna be that good, the crowds aren’t that big, he’s not that successful.” The narrative and the default narrative is always negative and its demoralizing.
Someone's going to have to cut him off from access to social media or he might stroke out.

Gosh, I hope no one tells him he's illegitimate. That'd be very, very mean. Bigly.

Please keep obsessing about this and Putin and nazis.

Trump ended TPP, froze fed hiring and got Teamster and sheet metal union support.

He also has no intention of supporting coal and is working on cancelling ACA which supported black lung patients. Guessing West VA ain't one of his states next election. And about those jobs . . . . I'm sure he's saved all kind of imaginary ones, but no one can say why jobs left. exports, machines, or lack of an educated/healthy work force? (Education and health care actually matter for a successful nation.)

If he would just focus on infrastructure and maybe bust some balls in excessive government spending, he could be very successful and have a lot of support. We'll see what happens.

he'll be fine. johnny manziel is helping him out.
Johnny Manziel . . . tweeted advice to President Donald Trump on using the social media platform.

"Yo, POTUS even I know to stay away from the notifications section on twitter. S--- will drive you crazy, lead the country and let them hate," Manziel tweeted Monday afternoon, followed by a tweet that read: "Control what you can control and let the rest fall by the wayside."

Most all my dads people are from the southwest part of Washington Co PA down into WV. And none agree. Just today Trump said he planned to scale back the EPA and his pick to head the org is a huge backer of coal: backed a $500 mil deal not long ago. He ran as pro coal.

The jobs left because the CoC and Manufacturing wanted them to leave. It has all been a plan by the elite to strip mine the american middle class. They turned us from the second most highly skilled worker nation into consumers and service industry types. That means they've re earned all the wages they paid our ancestors. When you drive up consumption and depress wages, there is no alternative but to dip into savings.

He has said a thousand times he will spend over a billion on infrastructure and cut spending. His whole life has been building things. Why on earth would a man like him not spend on infrastructure. It creates good jobs, cements his position politically and feeds his massive ego.

I don't understand, he agrees with you and people like you on damn near everything policy wise. He likes gays and wants a universal health care single payer system for chrissakes.

You are being a hysterical woman about Trump and need to get a hold of yourself.

coal means pollution which means an increase in illness and premature death, especially among infants and the elderly.

what price do you put on those lives? what's the bargain you propose? x jobs for y lives (plus hospital admissions for asthma and cardiac "events"). current and proposed regs are based on cost/benefit calculations. (it's good fun seeing testimony from the fossil guys arguing that old people don't contribute much and therefore don't acutally have much value. so no big deal if a few extra die.)

also, natural gas is cheaper than coal, which is a big reason for coal's decline. are we going to have an energy market, or is the admin going to favor coal in some way? (while also keeping farmers on the gov't tit with the ethanol program.)

as for donnie the builder--more like donnie the marketer for the last 10 . . . 20 years.

but you know what? fuck the blather. we'll see what tweeter-dumb actually does if he can pry his eyes from the cable news channels.

My guess is that the coal market is pretty much gone. Gas and oil are competitive, renewables are gaining traction, the nation is becoming more energy efficient, and there's always the threat a Democrat could be elected in the future-- all of these limit the outlook for coal fired electric. Even if it does have a future, it's probably in the lower sulfur varieties (which are primarily found out in Rocky Mountain states).

Besides, even if coal mining isn't dead, the jobs probably are. http://www.computerworld.com/article/31 ... -jobs.html

right.

no sane businessman is going to build new coal-fired generation with a 40-year payback. donnie might slow the retirement of some of the dirtier plants. we'll plant a few old folks in the ground to allow this to happen and make bennie happy.

The projections were probably done assuming that current EPA policies would continue, but coal's outlook still doesn't look good.

When he starts building that fence and starts deporting junior democrats I think the stroking out will be widespread.

I shit you not, the administration or Trump family will be selling commemorative golden shovels that turn over the first soil for the WALL. Based on the constant emails I've been getting for everything else. Looks like a lot of past presidents missed the boat when it comes to the after-sell. The marketing effort that continues post election is remarkable.

Trump was telling congressional leaders in a private meeting that he had a yuge inauguration, and that he would have won the popular vote but for millions of illegal immigrants voting. He said this to leaders of both parties.
President Trump used his first official meeting with congressional leaders on Monday to falsely claim that millions of unauthorized immigrants had robbed him of a popular vote majority, a return to his obsession with the election’s results even as he seeks support for his legislative agenda.
The guy is whacked in the head. I wonder what those house and senate leaders are thinking...

If I was Putin, I'd open my conversation with Trump by talking about how the inauguration was the biggest ever, and how all of those illegal immigrants stole the popular vote from Trump.

This was a nice piece of Hillary snark from RedState.com...
Donald Trump can argue about the number of people who showed up at his inauguration, but do you know how many turned up for Hillary Clinton’s? Zero.
And yet...Trump
Trump must stop engaging in this buffoonery. People close to the President have to get in his head and say, “Stop!” People are watching, including our nation’s enemies. If Trump’s ego is a means of getting to him, foreign leaders will certainly take that into account.
A buffoon's gonna buffoon. Trump is just being true to his nature
