I don't like Trump, but I also don't like being manipulated and lied to.The bottom line is there is no proof that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the presidential election. Absent such proof, the significance of communication between the campaign and Russian intelligence officials is unclear.

I am calling my shot now.
Trump set them all up.
Flynn cleared by FBI Jan 23.
Leaks occurred and printed in press weeks after that.
There were multiple conflicting accounts of what was inside the documents.
But each report claimed to have seen the documents.
Trump disseminated false reports to determine who was leaking.
He now knows identities and will prosecute.
Flynn back advising Trump before end of March.

As a part of a long-term pattern? Where there is smoke, there is fire.
- many visits to Russia
- deep finial ties with Russians (according to Trump Jr statements 2008)
- hides taxes for no good reason (hiding ties)
- hires Manafort, who worked for pro-Russian Ukrainians. Think Russia wasn't involved in trying to influence that election? Of course he had to work with them.
- hooks up with Flynn, who had built ties to Russians
- republican initiated dumpster dive turns up odd stuff
- Russians are hacking DNC and RNC, only releasing DNC, influencing election.
- Trmp praises those leaks, and publicly encourages Russians to hack more
- FBI investigation under way by this time
- Obama announces sanctions, Flynn talks to Russians 5 times in one day, Russians don't retaliate, Trump praises wisdom of Putin
- Trump says basically we are as bad as Russians, we've killed people too
And just etc., etc., etc. Oh by the way, members of Trump's campaign were in frequent contact with Russians. Of course they were. Colluding is hard work. It is barely even news.
Don’t believe everything you think.

that last sentence is amazing. it seems to imply that trump delivers only perfect truth, but really, did you intend to say that? The Ginger Beard Man wrote:https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the ... 1cbd8abd05

as for collusion, there is much to suggest it. if flynn's footsie was innocent, why did donald fire him? the odious, fake-news-making mainstream media didn't fire him. donald did.

Re: Who doesn't make it through?
Did you two even read the piece I linked? Nafod, it addresses your bullet points.
I've said this all along:
If the Russians tampered with our election, make evidence of that public. Unnamed sources won't do. I don't care about compromising intelligence methods, the public deserves to know the truth. The two most damaging potential scenarios are the two scenarios on the table now:
1. The Russians interfered in our election, and now our President is a puppet.
2. People in our own government and civil service want us to think so, and have started a campaign to discredit the legitimate president, and are being aided by the media, whether wittingly or not.
I've known Trump is a joke for over thirty years. I know he's a liar, all politicians are. We trust the media to provide us with accurate, truthful information. Many of us have legitimate doubts over whether they do so.
And DMW; bullshit. That line implies no such thing.

Ah-yup, it did.

I agree that the information needs to be made public. Because the intel folks work for Trump, and the house and senate are being run by repubs, without these leaks to information would likely be buried by Trump and uninvestigated or faux-investigated by Congress.I've said this all along:

I want a 4 year Benghazi investigation level of fervor on this. I want Trump's taxes revealed. I want Congress to do their job. If they don't, the patriots in the intelligence community who swore an oath to defend the Constitution (and not the party in power) will keep releasing facts.
Trump is unique. He has literally stood in the rain and told everyone the sun was shining (his inauguration). That's gaslighting.I know he's a liar, all politicians are.

Gee...YARTHINK?The government of China awarded U.S. President Donald Trump valuable rights to his own name this week, in the form of a 10-year trademark for construction services. The registration became official on Feb. 14 and was published in a trademark registration announcement on the website of China’s Trademark Office on Wednesday...The registration this week came as a surprise win for Trump after a decade of trying — and failing — to wrest the rights to his name back from a man named Dong Wei. The abrupt turn in Trump’s bureaucratic fortunes once he declared his candidacy has raised questions about the extent to which his political status may be helping his family business.

The transcript of that press conference read a lot like the transcripts we made of glassman's chalk talk. Someone should make a mixed video of the two of them talking to one another. It would be epic.

Harward sounded brilliant and a reassuring addition to the team. So Trump decided to negotiate and fucked it up.

Re: Who doesn't make it through?
You have no idea what is happening. Trump just hammered the press harder than anyone has ever done for being liars and subversive and no one cared. The neolibs have nothing. The judiciary is seen as partisan hacks. The press is hated more than anyone. The IC faction backing Hillary and war with Russia is considered subversive and treasonous. You have lost everything. And the demographic displacement you counted on to eliminate whites as a political bloc is being reversed. All the work BO put in setting the stage for the death of white america and the ushering in of post-colonial vibrancy was wasted. It is over for you. The social pressure you all leveraged into cultural omnipresence is powerless. All your social climbing was for nothing. You became a fag hag and tranny lover and coal burner for nothing. You sold out your culture for nothing. You'll have to re-jigger all your politics once again to keep treading water as a SWPL prole.Grandpa's Spells wrote:Weird to offer that guy the job them. Trump certainly went off the rails in yesterdays "speech" - or "rant" or whatever the heck that was he did. I wonder about his sanity - that's one messed up human being we have in office now.
Re: Who doesn't make it through?
People are completely flummoxed with a guy who doesn't lie so casually like most practiced politicians. Instead, he stood there and spoke back and forth to the press like a normal person would.
