Apart from racism, that's an "If it feels good, do it." argument. As if your feelings are arbiters of your morality.
It's more like I prefer to listen to my feelings, and try to temper my resulting actions with solid ethics, if that makes sense. And I don't think I'm superior to anybody else, for any reason.
I'm with you, just that after 56 years of watching others and myself let feelings be their guide, I'm wary of feelings. "Because I felt like it", is often an answer to a question I regret being asked.
I get that, Naffy. For me, I always try to stop and ask myself "Is what you're feeling like you'd like to do going to fuck over anybody else?" and if the answer is "yes," or "yeah, probably" then I don't do it. If the answe is "uuh, maybe?" I just say "Fuck it" and do it anyway. And I've got a pretty decent ethical compass. It's worked out good for everybody so far.
