There is obviously no Persistent or Deep State with it's own ends.
Bezos paid 300mil for the WashPost. But they have a CIA contract for 600mil.
Bill Buckley's taking out the Birchers, the Conservative Magazines with no subscriber base, Think Tanks, Modern Art, Twitter, WashPost all of it Deeps State organs of cultural control.

Whenever Fox does a story on the Murdochs, they run a disclaimer that they're owned by Newscorp which is a Murdoch owned company.
Bezos owns WP and does monster business w/CIA. It doesn't mean they're controlled by a Deep State but why not acknowledge a potential conflict of interest when doing national intelligence stories if only for appearances sake?
My guess is typical MSM arrogance doesn't even allow them to see the conflict.

Whenever I see the Washington Post do a story involving Amazon, they mention the ownership relationship. See here for an example.DrDonkeyLove wrote:Whenever Fox does a story on the Murdochs, they run a disclaimer that they're owned by Newscorp which is a Murdoch owned company.

whenever fox does a story on trump, they should run a disclaimer, saying that they are a public relations firm serving the president. hannity appeared in a trump promo video.DrDonkeyLove wrote:Whenever Fox does a story on the Murdochs, they run a disclaimer that they're owned by Newscorp which is a Murdoch owned company.

Now you see how what it's like with every other MSM source protecting Democrats forever. For fuck's sake, they were caught colluding during the campaign.whenever fox does a story on trump, they should run a disclaimer, saying that they are a public relations firm serving the president. hannity appeared in a trump promo video.

i assume you're referring to donna brazile passing on questions.tonkadtx wrote: For fuck's sake, they were caught colluding during the campaign.
so that's a democratic party official being partisan. yes, she used her role as a commentator on cnn. cnn also hired cory lewandowski after he left the trump campaign. the cable news shows are almost devoid of reporting, instead they're shouting matches between partisans. rudeness is required. cleverness is optional.
did you see kyrie irving, the cleveland basetball player, said the world is flat. draymond green of the warriors defended him, saying, how do we know those pictures from space of a round earth aren't tricked up? that is the level of commentary the cable news shows provide. they're the journalistic equivalent of roadkill skunk.

But in fairness - when the world throws you one low and slow right down the middle like a flat earth comment - it's hard to not knock it out of the park :)dead man walking wrote:i assume you're referring to donna brazile passing on questions.tonkadtx wrote: For fuck's sake, they were caught colluding during the campaign.

Does this mean that the US is enforcing the Logan Act now? That could have some interesting implications...
Although, given that the Act has never been used to successfully prosecute anyone, it'd seem strange to start now.

Re: There is obviously no Persistent or Deep State with it's own ends.
So, Trumpius Tweetius conspired with Putin TO STEAL THE ELECTION from Hillary. It's more than a scandal, it's a crisis is epic proportions.
As a result, there is a serious and treasonous attempt to have our largest and most valuable state secede from our grand union. And, where does the leader of one of the main secession groups reside??? Yekaterinburg Russia!. He's a teacher employed at Saint Petersburg State, the SAME school Putin's evil self graduated from. And, he appears on Putin's propaganda station, RTV. And, he has ties to a mysterious Russian who supports secession movements around the globe. And, his group has taken indirect but real $$$$ from Putin's government.
Is Putin trying pull a US state that once had a Russian colony (It has the Russian River people!) back into his orbit? Could his soulless ice blue slitty slavic eyes be focused on our precious pinot noir supply? And, Putin's prized secessionist voted FOR Trump!
The dots have been connected by the Washington Post, the CIA's unofficial mouthpiece, and it's ineluctable that Putin is behind the California secession movement.
Ridiculous and worthy of mockery you say.
No more so than the MSM and Dem (same thing) frenzy that Trump is Putin's orange hued Manhattanchurian candidate.

And, who else is Putin housing, none other than Edward Snowden the patron saint of Wikileaks which published the scandalous (but 100% true) DNC papers. And, the animal on CA's state flag is a bear and what is the moniker used by the foreign power trying to pull our nation apart: the Russian bear.Marinelli also admitted that he voted for Trump — a tactical decision, he explained. “We need things that we can use to promote the cause, and I think Donald Trump is a daily advertisement for that cause,” he said, noting that his vote didn't matter much in California, anyway.
When it comes to Marinelli's thoughts on the other president in his life, Putin, he keeps his cards closer to his chest. He said he doesn't have an emotional connection to Russia in the same way he does the United States, which is actually “a great thing” about living in Yekaterinburg.
Back home, he said, he was often frustrated by what he saw as America's failings.
“I think every country has progress to make on some fronts. People say, for example, that Russia has progress to make when it comes to civil rights and human rights,” he said. “And the United States doesn't? In Russia, police aren't shooting people because of their skin color. There's pros and cons.”
