Lightkeeper Pro works
I'll be damned if it didn't work. Brought like 7 strands back to life. Hope the inventor is now a millionaire.

Including the part where you pull the trigger on avg 7 times, and it lights up the rest of the string so you can ID the bad bulb??

Some of them came back on the 20-something pull. It felt like minting money, or using the paddles in an ER save.
