We definitely need to get him under oath and hear him out.

The question is, which one.

And if you didn't already know that MSM is a scam...All Big 3 networks ABC, CBS, NBC blacked out Trump defense lawyer Pam Bondi's presentation this afternoon of Ukraine corruption related to Joe Biden, son Hunter Biden, and Burisma. In contrast, they all carried Schiff's p.m. presentations live, preempting regular programming.
Fake and gay.
Fake and gay.

Fox News mutes Democrats presenting actual arguments on impeachment and has their talking heads speak offering commentary insteadFat Cat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 5:53 pm And if you didn't already know that MSM is a scam...All Big 3 networks ABC, CBS, NBC blacked out Trump defense lawyer Pam Bondi's presentation this afternoon of Ukraine corruption related to Joe Biden, son Hunter Biden, and Burisma. As there is no evidence of any corruption of Joe Biden, refusing to give conspiracy theories air time is the MSM wising up a little.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
Re: What to make of the election?
I'm still having a really hard time with the fact that you watch Fox News. I will take your word for it though. As for no evidence of corruption by Joe Biden, that's totally and completely not true. Hunter Biden was driving around Manhattan in a $130,000 Porsche and having lunch at the Waldorf Astoria today, all while being sued for child support. He is the posterboy for nepotism and graft:
How five of Joe Biden's family got rich through his connections:

Please don't try to say that influence peddling isn't corruption because that dog won't hunt.

Re: What to make of the election?
Call me a neoliberal shill if you must, but I'd rather not gamble the ability to get Trump out of office on the appetite of the median voter for socialist revolution w 3.6% unemployment, the longest economic expansion in history, &consumer confidence near post-dot-com-boom highs.
Naturally, there are a lot of people responding with true facts about the underlying variation and disparities, and the struggles many people are facing.
But *median* income, not just per capita income, is at an all-time high, finally passing the dot-com 90s.
And the electorate is *always* richer (and whiter and older) than the population at large. If the median American household feels like it's doing well economically, the median voter is even more likely to feel that way.
If your theory of the ballot-box revolution relies on either
a) the belief that the median American right now is going to be drawn to the rhetoric of "revolution" in economic relations or
b) that the median voter will be economically to the left of the median American
well, I have serious doubts.

I told you knucklehards last time Trump was going to win going away.
As of now, Trump in a landslide. Only thing that is a question now is the house.

I won’t bet against you, but I wonder if he is even going to make it. There’s some neurons that are backfiring in there.

Your only hope right now. Not a Dem out there he does not wipe the stage with in debates and crush in the election. Ukraine was a very bad move. I warned several lefty friends that in the end I would be saying, but you wanted this. Ukraine was the wrong road to go down.

Re: What to make of the election?
Donald Trump tweeted a resurfaced video of John Bolton calling the notorious call to Ukraine's Volodymr Zelensky 'warm and cordial' on Wednesday afternoon and crowed: 'GAME OVER!'
The president's defense against impeachment has been rocked by revelations that Bolton's book will say he explicitly tied Ukraine aid to a probe into Joe and Hunter Biden.
He seized on the interview Bolton conducted with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty while he was still the national security advisor, in which he said that the Trump administration was concerned with corruption, and that the president's two calls with the newly-inaugurated Zelensky were 'warm and cordial.'
'They were very warm and cordial calls. We're hoping that they will be able to meet in Warsaw and have a few minutes together because the success of Ukraine, maintaining its freedom, its system of representative government, a free market economy free of corruption and dealing with the problems of the Donbass and the Crimea are high priorities here, obviously, but are high priorities for the United States,' Bolton said in an interview broadcast on August 27.

Re: What to make of the election?
Wow
Now is time to get Bolton to testify under oath, with penalty of perjury, so he can totally exonerate Trump.

Well Mueller didn't work out and Ukraine didn't work out, and November is coming. I suggest you focus on the future.

Oh, we will hear from Bolton soon enough. Also...
Voters aren’t going to forget about Operation Coverup.
You can’t get 75% of voters to agree on anything.75% of registered voters say witnesses should be allowed to testify in President Trump's Senate impeachment trial, a Quinnipiac University poll published Tuesday finds.

Re: What to make of the election?
If having witnesses testify is the norm for impeachment trials, I agree they should be allowed and wouldn't be surprised if three out of four Americans agree.
