President Donald Trump said Thursday that the U.S. at his direction has conducted a counter-terrorism operation in Yemen that killed Qassim al-Rimi, an al-Qaida leader who claimed responsibility for last year’s deadly shooting at the Naval Air Station Pensacola where a Saudi aviation trainee killed three American sailors.

Killing these guys instead of starting wars is the only thing he does that I agree with.

I knew a professor who was an expert on terrorism. Often consulted for the government. He stated, almost immediately post-911, that direct retaliation against terrorists, but especially targeting their leaders is the most effective way to deter it.

Every million dollars spent killing a terrorist leader probably translates to 10-20X the cost saving in open warfare, if not more.

He stated that terrorist leadership is like our own political leaders. If senators/congressmen started to get knocked off from taking bribes from lobbyists, you'd see that shit slow down really quick

The Israelis claim that a CIA person responsible for Iranian policy was shot down in Afghanistan. They're citing the Taliban and Iranian sources.
