Started to teach English to children (via whatsup)
Downloaded schoolbook "English for 3rd class" published in 1953. I choose so old, because it better than modern books :(
And stumbled on some problems.
Think we'll just skip this page :) Because i just don't know how i will explain who is this :))

Not surprising that older books are better, you find that true in country after country. Educational specialists have fucked up all sorts of relatively simple things like teaching a child a language or mathematics. BTW, were you a pioneer? My wife was from the last generation of pioneers in Yugoslavia and even competed in Tito's Path of Revolution.

Yes, I was a pioneer.
And I was proud of it :)) I was ten years old.

It is better just to forget what Pioneer is :)

Wow...
But they are looking too old to be Pioneers.
Or it is me becoming old and starting to forget things :)

Hahaha, ya maybe but don't fight it! I'll help the one on the far right. But you're right, this is more like it:

Bill,
I remember several years ago when you were struggling with your English. But you persisted. And I recall that later you read Lonesome Dove in English and were able to discuss it with us in much better English. Now, a few years later, I'm amazed and delighted to see you teaching English. Well done comrade. (Or maybe that isn't said anymore.)

I was enforced to reread several times Fat Cat,'s posts to understand what he said, and was desperate that I can not answer him due to low level in language :))
Those trash tallks were a great stimulus to learn :))
