Terror Attack: Vienna

Austrian interior minister Karl Nehammer said he believed the incident was an "apparent terror attack".

A number of suspects armed with rifles launched the assault in six locations, police said. Among the injured was a police officer.

One attacker was shot dead by officers during a large-scale security incident.

Do we know it was Islamic terrorists? We are talking about an attack on a synagogue in Austria after all.

Well, it was supposed to have taken place near a synagogue. Could be far right larpers turned real deal.

Social media, always a reliable and not sketchy source of information, had reports of allahu akbar. Pictures I saw looked fairly... tan.

At least two people have been stabbed to death in the Canadian city of Quebec by a man armed with a sword and dressed in medieval clothing, police say.
Five others were wounded in the Halloween night attack.

People, but I just saw a report that they're believed to be Chechen ISIS fighters, which would make them not very tan.

Ultimately they determined it was an "ISIS-sympathizer from Northern Macedonia". That means it's almost certainly an ethnic Albanian.
