Episode 1 was a bit disappointing. Although John Voigt is amazing, I'm not loving the plot.
And the way Ray resolved the problem with the cop was highly improbable/laughable.
I grade it a C. Probably too generous because I loved Season 1.

I went back to some of the early episodes in between seasons. Really good. But Ep 1 does not bode well.johno wrote:Episode 1 was a bit disappointing. Although John Voigt is amazing, I'm not loving the plot.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Episode 2 gives me some hope. It was definitely a step up from last week's lameness.
But they need to bring back Biderman to restore the series to its Season 1 greatness.

Things are picking up. Last episode & this one were better. I enjoyed Mickey & Ray scamming the prison system to get Mickey into Adseg, even though the whole thing was very unlikely.

Hank Azaria is great. The meth head with the gas can was great. I really wish Lisa Bonet wasn't around.

Azaria: his character had quite the midlife change.Grandpa's Spells wrote:Hank Azaria is great. The meth head with the gas can was great. I really wish Lisa Bonet wasn't around.
Bonet: It's a perfect role for Lisa...a talented, beautiful woman in bad shape.

But I really think we should move this discussion to Shape's Animal Kingdom thread.
