"Day by Day Armageddon" series by J L Bourne. I've read the first two books of this trilogy ( or maybe they plan to stretch it out even further, third book just came out). Fast paced, cinematic. Characters aren't fleshed out very well, though, and kids are written downright poorly.
Nuts and bolts zombies, no crappy "The Stand" wannabeing -- the ruination of many zombie tales in my opinion. A little political intrigue and neat twist at the end of the second book. I think you'll find them entertaining

I will check it out for sure thank you.
I think I mentioned it before, but Stephen Knight's, Gathering Dead series are quite well done for those who like this genre.
