I saw this at Walmart (surprisingly) and since I've been looking at vests, I picked it up for a trial run. I'll be returning it, but the evaluation was useful.

I wore it at 10# for a 45 min YRG session. First of all, I can definitely see the value of added weight for this kind of activity. It increases the workload and enforces proper attention to tension and balance.

The vest itself would be fine for something like HH walking. The weights are solid, flat iron slugs, and the pockets close securely. It could use elastic somewhere in the closure; right now it's all nylon and Fastex. Still, it doesn't shift around.

The problem with it for something like yoga (or KB or CB) is that the material is too bulky, the shoulder area is too wide, and the edge finishing is too thick and rigid. So it restricts overhead reaching and binds and cuts around the arms. Annoying as hell.

Now I know when looking at other brands to check for roominess around the arms and neck. A vest for YRG etc needs to be sleeker.
