I do, however, have a goddamn problem with you just posting links instead of legit content. It would be just as easy to cut and paste the shit to IGx than it is to link, and more polite and considerate.
My review on your review is that it sucks. "I was anxiously awaiting the production of this dvd"? Come on. That sounds like you are craving cock and overall the review is a bit of a disservice to Sincere.Sincere Hogan, "The People's Fit Coach", has just produced a training dvd. If you don't know Sincere, (and how is that possible?), then you should. He's a premier fitness instructor who implements boot camps style training and kettlebell technology into a seamless package. His training groups are packed to the gills and his workshops are well known around the country. I was anxiously awaiting the production of this dvd. Sincere has literally taught hundreds of classes and traveled all over the country to study, learn and apply his trade. This dvd shows the fruit of his labors. It is an ala carte format. Sincere teaches specific drills and explains them in a highly detailed, humorous fashion. That's rare, since many instructors take themselves way to seriously.
The exercises are unique, varied, and creative. Fun,.. not the same old same old.
I highly recommend this dvd, you will enjoy yourself as you get more agile, fit, and lean!

Shaggy has a long history on IGx of bandwagon jumping horseshit posts. Much akin to an 11 y/o lighting a firecracker to stir interest in his mostly shitty posts and blogs. Too bad, really, as his bonafide knowledge is drowned-out by his JDC/Lif@rd-esque attempts at being an online kettlekook/fitness celeb.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:I do, however, have a goddamn problem with you just posting links instead of legit content. I remember once that Shaf characterized Tom's IGx posting style as:
We all like you anyway, Tom, in a totally bro-tastic way, of course.
Look! A grouse!

You guys just wait. When Shaggy wakes-up from his Chocolate Martini & 3 Buck Chuck Red Wine binge, he'll be on your ass like stink on shit...that is, just as soon as Robin gets home to loan him the $4.57 for the Venti Skinny Triple Latte with Double Shot of Sugar Free Madagascar Vanilla syrup and no-fat whip, extra chocolate covered coffee beans, for recovery purposes, of coarse. Then...then he'll be ready to lay the twitter smackdown on your foul-mouthed ignorances.

Re: Sincere Hogan's Ultimate Bodyweight DVD.
I actually went to the Hogan promotional site and looked at the DVD contents...have to say, it looked pretty good. I've wanted to do some more floor work and "animal style" exercises in hopes of some day working my way up to Steve Cotter's "Fu Hu Gong" stuff. So I ordered it, and I'll post my impressions of it.
Mucho thanks for the referral, Tom.

Re: Sincere Hogan's Ultimate Bodyweight DVD.
Update: The DVD arrived in the mail, and the program bonuses (including a UBW basic training schedule) came in the email, so I had a quick look at it last night. (Amazing how much faster DVD reviews go when you can set the VLC player to play at 1.3x normal speed.).
It's a solid package. My "gold standard" for this sort of thing is Steve Maxwell's presentations on "The Boys Are Back In Town" DVD collection, and this isn't quite up to that standard, but it's still pretty good. The exercises are interesting and fun to play with; several of them are drills (or variations of drills) that I haven't seen before. (For instance, I knew about the "Jenga" technique from caporeira, but I never thought of it as a recovery technique.) Some of Sincere's instructions on alignment and imagery and weight distribution are very helpful and will save you a lot of wasted effort in trying to master these exercises.
Sincere himself isn't quite as "polished" in his presentation as someone like Maxwell or Dan John, but he obviously belongs up there in front of a crowd of attendees, he knows what he's doing, and most importantly, he's convincing - I finished the DVD eager to give these drills a go. Based on the DVD, I wouldn't hesitate to buy future products from him, or to attend his seminars if I got the chance.
In an age where "$79.95" is the new "$39.95" (I'm looking at you, Dragon Door), this modestly priced DVD seems like a very good value for your training dollar.
