SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
I like the new black sheriff. I think the leatherman dude trying to spin RICO on Samcro is a bit ridiculous, though.
Jax...pretty much a stone-cold killer, except he likes it up close with his knife, almost a sociopath who can reconcile any action he takes. He's already show a tendency towards betrayal...not sure where they're taking him.
Tara...used to be a strong woman character, this first episode she was just an ol' lady.
The hitman in prison...seriously?

Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
I thought it was somewhere between meh and good. It all seems familiar...the formula still works, but it's a formula.
I've always thought Sutter writes very unevenly...oh, I'm getting out of SAMCRO because it's just about greed and fear and it's lost its heart and I want something better for my boys and my old lady...next scene he stabs a guy to death over guns.
Good guy outlaw bikers...the premise was flawed from the beginning. The idea of them working to keep meth out of Charming was LULZ.
At any rate, I've watched every season, and I won't miss this one, either.

Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
I'm still way behind but it's more like reading a comic book than watching a show about outlaw bikers.
And I still think Jax is a fucking nancy.

It's a great watch. The plot is ludicrous, but when watching TV or a movie I suspend belief and just decide if it was entertaining or not. SOA is entertaining, albeit full of shit.

It's no Shield. It's not even a Rescue Me. I'm still a bit miffed they nixed Terriers. I enjoyed that show.

Terriers was pretty damned good.
Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
Just started watching SOA from the beginning. Up to the 6th episode of the first season. I'm suprised by how much I'm enjoying it. The part where they burnt Kyle's tattoo off was fucking brutal.

Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
Yeah, that was one of the more fucked up scenes in the series. The end of season 3 is another.
Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
For some reason the scene with the Mexican biker, where Happy stuck his kid with an icepick. Dude negotiated his son's death for peace.

David Hasselhoff! Hahahahahah. "She taught me that I was more than just a big dick."
Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
It's back to being outlaw biker Hamlet.
I hope Piney kills Clay. Man has nothing to lose and knows who killed his Bro.
If you read the back story, Piney and John Teller were in Nam together, started the M.C. together and you know how marines can be about getting even.
And yeah, Terriers was great.
Shaf compared it to The Rockferd Files.
As a kid I hated it but before we got cable again I was watching the hell out of it on Retro TV, great show.

Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
It becomes harder and harder to give a damn about what happens to Jax or Clay. Uncer has become way more interesting. So's Opie.
I do think it's awesome that there are tons of cameos from cast members from The Shield. Apparently they are trying to spread the work around.

Opie was always more awesome. Guy looked the part. Looks like he knows his way round a weight room too. And he bangs the hottest chicks.Shafman wrote:It becomes harder and harder to give a damn about what happens to Jax or Clay. Uncer has become way more interesting. So's Opie.

The Hamlet thing's getting old. Jax is still a raging faggot, and Clay should have died long ago, if only for crimes against humanity for making us look at a face like that.
This Juice stealing the cocaine thing is the first good twist in a while. I imagine he'll end up either spinning a deal with the sheriff to prevent the club and cartel finding out, or dead from it.
I also think Clay will either attempt to threaten Tara's life, or try to kill her and fail. I also think Jax will kill Clay before the end of the season when he finds out about his dad.
Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
I had never seen this show but heard people say it was good.
So I pulled up episode 1 of the latest season on demand.
Fucking stupid. These guys are about the least realistic bunch of outlaw bikers since the douchebags in that equally stupid movie, Wild Hogs. In this episode, they wanted to stop....real estate development. LMAO!
I can't believe American males enjoy this soap opera.
Oooh but I forgot it occasionally has edgy violence!
ridiculous

Bitchskitball! or how to treat a whore.
I like how Piney can still drop his boy when he brings trouble.
He's going to killl Clay.

Agreed. I think Piney's going to be the guy to save the day.
Shooting innocent people in the face, smacking crazy bitches, old man puts his kid in line. Good episode.

x2. Juice is transparent as shit. I'd imagine someone from the Sons clocked that he took it, and will use the theft against him in the future.baffled wrote:Agreed. I think Piney's going to be the guy to save the day.

Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
Chibs seemed to have a good idea of what was going on.
Who knows what is going to happen though.
I think Unser is going to have a huge role in whatever happens.

Half way through the latest episode and I'm falling asleep.
Re: SOA, season 4 (may be spoilers)
Good decision to kill Juice. I hope they out Clay and kill the season. It's dragging on.
