No good. There are a few different designs. One has a very small toe plat, another replaces the plate with a small pipe. Very difficult to get the hams to fire correctly. Just fine for x fit use and the traditional back ext/ ab work.

I have this one; I love it. Much heavier duty than the others they make, especially for the Crossfit crowd. Most cheaper glute hams suck balls and are glorified hyper benches, including the less expensive Sorinex ones. If you weigh 150 pounds, they might be fine.
