Anyone else using it? I'm using the premium service- 10 quid a month and I'm loving it.
It's got almost every song on it. All sorted by artist and album. With the premium service, I can put as many songs as I like into my playlist, make the playlist available offline, (one button, takes about 20 minutes for 600 songs), and then listen to it anywhere on my ipod touch. Saves me having to download everything.
It's basically like itunes, but all the music is stored online, so you just search for the artist/album/song you want, and listen.
If you're only gonna listen online, it's completely free. And legal.

Re: Spotify
I use it...pretty good, but it freezes on me sometimes.
If you know what you want to hear, Spotify is the way to go, plus the "Related Artists" tab is a cool feature. If you just want to put some music on and aren't really that concerned about what/who comes on, Pandora is good too. Spotify has an "Radio" tab that works like Pandora, but seems to bring the band that the station is created for into more frequent rotation.

For 10 quid (@ $15 in real money), you should look at Rhapsody. Same deal, but you can download to your ipod and play it w/o an internet connection.
Also, the Rhapsody app is a $10 a month deal. You get it free for 7 days to see if you like it.

Thanks. I'll look into it. At the moment not owning the songs doesn't bother me, but I guess it would if I ever cancelled the service.

I don't think you'll "own" the songs thru Rhapsody either, you lease them, from what I understand. Once you cancel rhapsody, you can't play the songs you downloaded, but that could be bullshit. Its just what a friend who uses it told me.
